Those who were on tour last week do need to make up the radio broadcast we listened to in class last Block day on the Revolutions of 1848 (see link below). You need to listen to the broadcast and take at least 2 pages of notes on the narrative of the Revolutions. Pay attention to 1) What caused the Revolutions (long- and short-term causes)? 2) What happened? Why were the Revolutions initially successful? 3) What did the Revolutionaries demand? 4) Why did the Revolutions eventually fail?
